Power trio make AFL Sydney Representative Squad

24th May, 2012

A big congratulations to Dan Turner, Adam Cook and Graham Enright who have all been selected in the AFL Sydney Development Squad to take on the Farrer League over the June Long Weekend. The selection of these players is a great achievement and shows the opportunities available to players of the Southern Power. Training commenced this week and will continue for the next couple of weeks with the final team selection on Wednesday 6th June.

We wish the boys well as they strive to make the final team and represent the Power.

Should they be selected the game is on Saturday 9th June at 10:30am at Blacktown International Sports Park No 1 Oval.

Also playing they day will be Rod and Andrew Craig who are part of the NSW Indigenous side who will play against AFL Canberra on No 2 Oval at 11:00am.

Congratulations guys on your selections and ‘get around them’.

Not to be outdone, we should also congratulate Jenna Miller and Kathryn Hull for their selection in the NSW women’s team. The side play 3 games against the ACT side (the first game was a couple of weeks ago where the NSW girls narrowly lost).

Well done all!
