Grand Final Fever…can you feel it?

3rd September, 2014

Grand Final Fever has certainly descended on the Shire as this Sunday 7 September sees the Southern Power Women’s team in their second consecutive grand final as they take on the Wollongong Saints at Blacktown International Sports Park at 10am. It is sure to be a tight contest as the previous three encounters this season have been decided by a total of 16 points.

The ladies have had a record breaking season, winning all 16 of their home and away games to finish the regular season as undefeated minor premiers and winning their semi-final over Wollongong with a 3pt come from behind victory in the dying stages of the match.

Each and every member of this team will give their all on Sunday as they have done for the entire season, they will play with pride and passion for our club and for each other. We encourage all of our members and supporters to be there on the sidelines supporting them on the road to victory.
