Southern Power AFC Seeking Coaches for the 2011 Season

The Southern Power AFC is seeking dynamic, highly motivated and suitably skilled Coaches to fill vacancies for the 2011 season including:

  • First Grade Coach
  • Reserve Grade Coach
  • Third Grade Coach
  • Under 18’s Coach
  • Womens Coach

Based in the Sutherland Shire in Sydney’s south, Southern Power AFC offers applicants an exciting opportunity to develop their coaching expertise at a Club that has a strong focus on developing a successful and enjoyable football environment for all players and supporters.

The Southern Power AFC is currently enjoying its most successful era both on and off the field culminating in the senior side winning this years Sydney AFL Second Division Premiership. This win means promotion of the Senior side to the Sydney AFL First Division competition where the club will be looking to be instantly competitive.

Huge steps have been taken off the field over the past 2 years with a new look committee but the Club realise that the best way to continue this rise is with success on the football field which is why the role of coaches is so important in building on the wave of momentum the Club currently has.

We are looking for Coaches with previous experience who can continue the remarkable growth of the Club over recent years, with a view to providing a clear pathway for players of all levels, ages and sexes wanting to play AFL in the Sutherland Shire of Sydney.
With an influx of local juniors to the senior Club in recent years applicants with a proven ability to develop a diverse group of young players would be considered an advantage.

This is an exciting opportunity for driven coaches who are keen to get on board for the journey as the Southern Power AFC continue their rise in the Sydney AFL landscape.

Remuneration packages are available depending on qualifications and experience.
