Coaches appointed for 2014 Women’s and U19’s teams

25th November, 2013

Congratulations to Matt Crowe and Abe Caroca on their appointments as Coach of the Southern Power AFC Women’s and U19 teams respectively. Both coaches are looking forward to the 2014 season and building on the year that was 2013. With Crowey taking the reins again it will be the first time in the clubs history that the women’s team have had the same coach for consecutive seasons, a move which has been well received across the team and club in general.

It was great to see both new and old faces at our first pre-season session last Thursday, hopefully the numbers increase each week, as it’s the hard work now that will pay off during the season/finals.

The Committee is in the process of selecting the First Grade/Club Coach, and we are pleased with the calibre of applications and interest levels received so far. Until the successful applicant is appointed as First Grade/Club Coach our training sessions will be run by Abe/Crowey/Roey so please give them your respect and attention as we start the quest for 2014 premiership glory.

A reminder to bring JOGGERS and BOOTS to all training sessions.

POWER IN UNITY!
