Reserve & 3rd Grade Coaches Announced

14th January, 2011

The Power are very pleased to announce the final coaching positions for the 2011 season.

Cameron Roe has been re-appointed as the Reserve Grade coach for the season after leading the team back to finals football in 2010. 2011 shapes as a big year for the Powers Reserve Grade side and Roe’s re-appointment will only assist their quest for a premiership.

The Power are still seeking an Assistant Coach and Team Manager for the Reserve Grade side so if you think this is something you might like to be involved with please contact Simon or Matt to discuss.

The final piece of the coaching jigsaw has now been completed with Ryan Libbis being appointed as the 3rd Grade coach for 2011. Libbis’s appointment is a very pleasing one for the club and is his first foray into the coaching side of the game following many seasons of playing at the Club. Recently retired Life Member Anthony Graf will work join the side as the Assistant Coach while Brad Cavanagh will be the Team Manager. This appointment bodes well for the 3rds for the year who will be looking to improve on the past season and hope to play finals football. The streamlined Libbis will also be playing for the 3rds this season which is a bonus for the playing group.

Libbis is now counting down the days till round 1, “I am really excited about being given the opportunity to coach the thirds this season. I look forward to working closely with the playing group as we strive to improve our football together.” he said.

So with these final appointments the 2011 coaching staff is as follows:
