1st Grade into Grand Final

30th August, 2010

Following victory against UTS on Saturday afternoon, the Southern Power 1st Grade side have progressed straight to the Grand Final which will be held on Saturday 11th September at Blacktown Olympic Park at 3pm.

This is the first Grand Final for the senior side since 2007 and the boys will be looking to go one step further and bring the flag back to the Shire.

A full match report of the game will be online soon.

More details of the days events will be posted over the coming week.

Unfortunately the Reserve Grade side were bundled out of the finals yesterday when they went down to Penrith. With only a couple of points separating the sides going into the final quarter the Power were not able to convert their chances and Penrith ran away with the game.

The Powers Under 18 side also went down over the weekend however they have a 2nd chance and take on Holroyd Parramatta on Saturday at 8:30am at Gipps Rd Oval.
