Oondi Claims Snow Medal

17th September, 2012

In his first season in Sydney football, Andrew Craig has claimed the Snow Medal for the Division One League Best and Fairest. Craig who moved from the Riverina last year polled 25 votes to finish 4 votes clear of Holroyd Parramatta’s Jake Brazzil. Craig has played most of his season in the ruck but also is a big target down forward and has been a very popular addition to the Power side.

The award continues a proud record of the Southern Power who have managed to claim numerous league best and fairest awards in recent years including 2010 (Liam Davis), 2009 (Rhys Vance), 2006 and 2007 (Jason Philp) and 2005 (Daniel Stanton). What makes the award even more significant is that Andrew joins his brother Rodney as a Snow Medal winner following Rods win in the award back in 2004!

Congratulations Ondi from all the Power!
